2 Step Stamping

The ladies in the last class really got to like the idea and look of the 2 step stamping using the Stippled Blossom stamp set. Here is a video demonstrating the technique using Stampin' Up!'s new Flower Patch stamp set which comes with a matching collection of framelits. The best part is that the stamp set is a photopolymer set, so we can stamp and restamp without ever worrying if we are getting the second impression exactly where we want it. Yay!!!

As you can see there are so many possibilities with the technique of 2 step stamping, that you want to go back and take a look at what other stamps you have to use with this technique. If you really love the Flower Patch stamp set used in the video, you can click HERE to order it from my online shop. Remember, it has a matching collection of framelits if you are interested in getting them as a bundle.

Hip Hip Hooray Card Kit

I received my Hip Hip Hooray Card Kit on Friday, and I went straight to work. It took me a total of 2 hours to finish all 20 cards in the kit.

I tried to follow the designs of most of the samples in the kit, but still made some minor changes to the card designs. I will post 5 single cards later, but those were the 5 cards I designed myself because I was not too fond of those particular card designs in the kit. Here are a couple of photos for some of the cards I finished.

If you like what you see, you can head over to my online shop HERE to order the kit and start your own creative journey with this kit. EVERYTHING you need to complete these cards (as they are in the kit) is included, except your scissors...really, EVERYTHING is in there!

Ribbon, Ribbon, and More Ribbon

Stampin' Up! has come out with some of the most beautiful ribbon styles, sizes, and colors. There are so many wonderful possibilities for all the ribbons. We don't just use them on cards; we can dress up our gifts as well. It is so simple to make packages look like they were professionally wrapped or tied. Some of the ribbons can even be died to match specific colors of inks you would like on projects.

Enjoy this video on the different techniques you can do with the ribbons from the new catalog.

Prepaid Paper Pumpkin

What a way to receive your Paper Pumpkin kit each month and not worry about whether your credit card is up to date or why you missed a kit. The opportunity is here to take advantage of a prepaid subscription of your choice> 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months...AND there is an opportunity to save $$$ depending on your subscription choice. When you order a 6 month prepaid subscription, you save $1 each month. When you order a 12 month prepaid subscription, you save $2 each month; this is a total of $24, so in essence it as if you will be getting 1 kit for free.

Interested in more than 1 subscription? Well, you can purchase more than one, but you will only be able to redeem 1 code at a time. For example, if you purchase two 6 month prepaid subscriptions, you will enter the first code and then, after 6 months, enter the second code.

Out With the Old, In With the New

A while back, I created these really cute gift bags using now retired DSP. Well, since the summer is coming up, and baby season is as well, I decided to recreate the bags with the new Lullaby DSP.
These gift bags are actually sturdy enough for gifts. they are so simple to make, and beautiful to give for any occasion. You can most definitely alter them to fit any event. If you are interested, you can purchase the tutorial HERE by scrolling down on my tutorials for sale page.
