Peace on Earth

This Calm Christmas stamp has become a favorite of mine. I love this bird for its versatility during the holiday season. I have been able to use it as a stamp for Christmas, Hannukah, and just general Winter Wishes cards.

Stamp Sets: Festive Flurry, Calm Christmas
DSP: Winter Frost
Card stock: Island Indigo, Whisper White, Basic Gray
Ink Pads: Smoky Slate, Pool Party
Markers: Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green

Matchbook Table Favor

This is one of the projects we did in class a couple of weeks ago. It is a matchbook with a card (fits inside), inspired by a project my upline made. For a dinner, this would make a great table favor along with a chocolate square inside.

Stamp Sets: Santa's List, Festive Flurry, Wishing You
Card stock: Whisper White, Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler
DSP: Season of Style
Ink Pads: Smoky Slate
Markers: Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler, Blush Blossom

Holiday Gift

I made these little boxes with some gifts inside for some friends. They were so quick and easy to make once I finalized the measurements for the box.

Santa Slide

The extended Peekaboo window I made for this card reveal an extra message inside. This is a fun technique (a workshop card in last week's class) that allows us to make more use of the Peekaboo windows from the Bigz die to extend the windows for some of the longer text stamps. Pull the ribbon so Santa can slide over and let you read the hidden message.

Stamps: Santa's List, Festive Flurry, Morning Post Numbers
Ink: Encore Gold, Basic Black, Soft Sky
DSP: Season of Style
Card stock: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Gumball Green

Calm Christmas

This color combination really does make this a Calm Christmas card. This photo actually doesn't do the card justice. The Northern Flurry background was actually embossed and covered with Dazzling Diamonds, so the snowflakes sparkle.

Cardstock: Whisper White, Pool Party, Basic Gray
Ink: Pool Party, Encore Metallic Silver
Stamp Sets: Calm Christmas
Accessories: Northern Flurry Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Paper Snips, Dazzling Diamonds

My new room

When I first started this blog a couple of months ago, I had mentioned that I was in the process of moving from one room to another. Well, I am done with all the necessities...YAY! The room is mostly put together (the only photos I will show for now...lol). I broke the room up into work stations where the left side is for Stampin' Up!, the right side is for beading, cricut, and sewing machine. In doing this, I was able to have a third station in the center for bigger projects like my mini albums, 12 x 12 scrapbook layouts, and cricut projects. Little things like a different window treatment still need to be done, but I have everything I need to work actually out and ready. If you combine the first 2 photos side by side, it gives you a better idea of the layout.
