Flip Card 2

This is the card I made using the Labels Card Thinlit Die. I still stuck with Rich Razzleberry and Sahara Sand, as I thought they looked very soft together.

Here is the video I promised on how I construct the card with layers. You can create your layers this way, or use the coordinating framelit dies for each set to get perfect cuts for the circle or label in the center. This is just a faster way; I like instant gratification when I work on a card...lol!

Flip Card

I have been working on creating a video for the layer portion in this card using only the base thinlit die you need to create the base. I will have it posted soon with another version of this card using the Labels Thinlit die. Believe it or not, the video has been uploading to YouTube since yesterday.

Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Sahara Sand
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Garden Green
Stamps: Betsy's Blossom
Accessories: Circle Card Thinlit Die

If you love flip cards, then these die sets are for you. Both, the Circle set and the Labels set have coordinating stamp sets and framelit die sets.
These new card dies come with extra die pieces that have versatile designs, so you can use them on other projects, not just flip cards. (The Circle Card Thinlits Die comes with 10 total pieces; the Label Card Thinlits Die comes with nine total pieces.)
With the number of dies you're getting, plus the die that creates the card itself, the price is a great value-especially to create an interactive card!

Label Card Thinlits Die (item 133479):
          Coordinates great with:
Happy Day Stamp Set (item 130294 W item 130297 C)
Circle Card Thinlits Die (item 133480):
           Coordinates great with:
Worth the Wait Stamp (item 131094 W)
                   Five-Way Flower Stamp (item 131088 W)
Both card dies pair well with:
Oh, Hello Stamp Set (item 131931 W item 130733 C)
                   Yippee-Skippee! Stamp Set (item 131341 W item 131344 C)
Really Good Greetings Stamp Set (item 130330 W item 130333 C)
Regarding Dahlias Stamp Set (item 130324 W item 130327 C)

ALL of these dies also work well with our new magnetic platform (item 130658) so you can place the dies exactly where you want them!

Busy Day

I have a card to share today, before I get to why it has been such a busy day. I just love the new Crisp Cantelope. To me, it is the younger sibling of Calypso Coral...just a tad lighter. I made this card in both colors, but gave one away as a birthday card a few days ago. Here is my Calypso Coral sample.
Stamps: Serene Silhouettes, Blooming With Kindness
Ink: Calypso Coral, Soft Suede, black Stampin' Write marker (for birds)
Cardstock: Whisper White and Basic Black
Accessories: Chevron Ribbon in Calypso Coral

Now to why it has been an exhausting day. The girls are definitely splitting up from one room to each having her own room. That ended up meaning mom had to lose the room she worked so hard painting and getting ready to be her craft room. At least I enjoyed it for a year. It is a matter of convenience for the sake of moving our existing furniture, AND as long as I don't here the petty girly arguments anymore, I am more than happy to move. Sooooo, guess what that means? Yes, a NEW ROOM for mom!!! I am still in the process of moving furniture around, so my new room is just full of stuff...not even close to being ready. I do have a photo here of the old room before I give it up, and I will post a photo of the new room when it is done. I am going to miss my color scheme and my faux Stampin' Up! wallpaper and wall trim .
This is my current work table.

This is what the walls in the entire room look like. I'm going to miss this.

I hope that I will have my new room done by next week to show you all; it may very well be wishful thinking to think it will be done that soon.
Happy Stamping!

Questions? We Have Answers . . .

Q: Stampin' Up! has never offered promo codes before. Why now?
A: As we have mentioned before, we are trying a lot of new ways to market Paper Pumpkin to new Stampin' Up! customers-and this is one of the ways we are trying at this time. We are confident that most will love it and will remain full-price members after the discounted months. This promotion is designed to help you get a lot more Paper Pumpkin subscribers!
Q: Should we expect to start seeing promo codes for use on other Stampin' Up! products?
A: No. Paper Pumpkin has its very own ordering system. Similar codes would not work in OEX or Online Ordering. At this time we have no plans to add promo code functionality to our other ordering systems.
Q: If the offer is only for new customers, can't I just cancel my existing membership and re-sign up using the special code?
A: No. When you cancel and try to re-sign up with the same e-mail address, the system will recognize you and reinstate your former membership. The promo code will not work.
Q: Can I just cancel and re-sign up using a different e-mail address and use the promo code?
A: Yes, this option will work, but keep in mind you will receive the Welcome Kit on your first month. That means you will miss the actual kit of that month and you will really only get one new discounted kit in the end.
Q: How much commission do I get on a discounted membership?
A: For the first two months when your customer pays $10 for the kit, $5 of that is for shipping and the actual commissionable amount of each kit is $5. Keep in mind that unless your new customer cancels, her membership will continue at full price (and full commission) after the first two discounted months.
Q: How do my customers redeem the special offer?
A: Have your customers visit mypaperpumpkin.com, click on "Join Now" and enter all of their information. Make sure they select "1" as the quantity for kits and enter the coupon code PUMPKINDEAL in the promo code box which is located just below the kit quantity. They will then finish with payment information and click "Submit." They will receive a confirmation and a request to set up a password. They can return and do that at any time.
Q: What if I sign up to get more than one kit per month?
A: That's great-more fun for you. However, the two-month discount will only apply to one kit each month.
Q: Is the Try-It Kit discounted?
A: No. It is still available for regular price. (Item #132600 $16.95.) This promotion does not apply to the Try-It Kit at all.

Test Post

Well, here I go on the path to blog world. This is my very first post, so I am taking the opportunity to thank a few people who have been there for me throughout this process. Thank you to the most amazing upline, Becky Roberts for all the encouragement and drive. I would also like to thank my great friend Cassia for being pushy, but in a sisterly good way. Last, and in no way least, my new BCFF! If it were not for you, absolutely none of this would have gotten done.
