Silver and Flurries

Here is a clean and simple card to make for the holidays. It was amazingly quick to complete several of this; I finished 10 in 1 hour (assembly line process). I love the colors in this years holiday DSP called Winter Frost. It is a nice change from the usual greens and reds, but that's not to say I haven't made anything in the traditional colors...lol.

Cardstock: Pool Party, Island Indigo, Whisper White
Ink: Smoky Slate, Metallic Encore Silver, Bermuda Bay
Embossing Folder: Pretty Print
Specialty Paper: Foil Sheets (silver)
Designer Series Paper: Winter Frost
Stamps: Festive Flurry, Wishing You

Believe

I was inspired to make this little treat bag by my new niece's homecoming from the hospital. She is going to be one tough cookie. It took her strength and the family's faith that she will get through everything and go home. I decided to use the Believe from Snowflake Soiree on the tag for the occasion. Welcome home Baby Zayna!

Cardstock: Whisper White, Gumball Green
Ink: Island Indigo, Pool Party, Encore Gold
Punches: Bird Builder (leaf only)
Dies: Chalk Talk
Accessories: Mini Muslin Bags
Stamps: Festive Flurry, Snowflake Soiree, Calm Christmas

Fall Card Case

This is the last fall card I have to post, and I just had to case it in these colors with some changes from the inspiration card I saw. It is a fall card in subtle colors rather than the usual bold colors (orange, brown, yellow, red) we see. This is a fun, quick, and easy card to make. See you in the next post with my holiday cards.

Cardstock: Whisper White, Crushed Curry
Ink: Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Soft suede, Crumb Cake
Stamps: Truly Grateful, Gorgeous Grunge

Loopy Flower & Video

I sat down to get some work done the other day, and realized I had a few strips of DSP laying around on my desk. I didn't want to throw them out, but had no clue what to use them for (left over from the bows I made). Well, I decided to try another flower.
You can play around with the length and width of the strips to create different combinations of flower sizes. For a more detailed explanation, you can watch my video below. Have fun creating these!

Truly Grateful Napkin Holder

This project was inspired and cased from a fellow demonstrator (sorry, can't remember where  I saw it).  If you can't use a sewing machine or just don't have one, it is still not difficult to recreate this...just use sticky strip to hold the pocket and draw faux stitches using a white gel pen or marker. I found the napkins at Tuesday Morning and realized they were perfect!
Stamps: Truly Grateful
Inks: Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Early Espresso
Cardstock: Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Early Espresso, Whisper White
Accessories: Champagne Glimmer Paper, 7/16" Trim Natural
Punches: Scallop Oval, Large Oval
Dies:Autumn Accents Bigz

Stampin' Up! + Cricut Gives You.....

Who would have thought you could use the Build a Banner Simply Created Kit with the Cricut and end up with something amazing. I love this project. I decided to create a banner for my new baby niece using the Build a Banner Kit, but didn't want to just use the kit as is. I created a few color mist concoctions from our refills to match the retired cardtsock I used (I was too afraid to use the current stuff and have the project come out a bust...LOL). It ended up being beautiful, so I left it as is.
Build a Banner Kit plus my mist mixtures give you this.

 The cricut gives me this.

Put them together, and you get this.

The Banner Kit stencils on card stock and cut out.

Fall Sunburst

My favorite season of the year is here. I love the change of color in the trees the most. Now that I live in Florida, I miss not seeing that change. Green leaves going from green to yellow, orange, red, and/or brown. I miss the change of season for the change of wardrobe as well. I used to love wearing sweaters in the cool weather in New York in October. Here are a couple of nice and simple sunburst cards in fall colors.

Stamp Set: Truly Grateful
Ink Pads: Cajun Craze, Soft Suede
Cardstock: Cajun Craze
DSP: Sweater Weather
Accessories: Burlap Ribbon, Expressions Thinlits
